Powis Estates plays host to a range of exciting events in our community throughout the year, including live music festivals like the Country and Western Festival, family-friendly shows such as the Montgomery Show, or athletic events such as the Welshpool 10k Run. Any forthcoming events will be listed below.
If you’d like to host your own event, please feel free to get in touch with our Estate Office. We would be delighted to help you find a spectacular setting for your event and discuss the available options, from the well-serviced Powis Estates Showfield, to medieval ruins and woodland landscapes.
The Welshpool Country Music Festival returns this July with a weekend of fantastic music to raise vital funds for the Heulwen Trust.
The Trust provides free, uplifting canal boat trips for vulnerable and less‑abled children and adults, offering moments of joy and tranquillity along the beautiful Montgomery Canal. Funds from the festival help maintain the Trust’s two specially adapted boats, ensuring these much‑loved trips can continue for those who benefit most.
