With a residential portfolio of around 160 houses to rent around the Welshpool and Montgomery areas, we offer a range of properties from cottages to farmhouses. This includes a wide selection of period properties that have been enhanced and maintained to meet modern-day living standards, along with several 20th-century properties for those after a slightly more contemporary style.  

Our residential properties are in very high demand but when one does become available, we will make every effort to help you find a home that meets your needs. Commercial Properties

People and place are at the heart of the Estate, which is why we take care to manage our commercial properties in a way that benefits the local economy and our communities.

We offer a selection of commercial premises for rent, which range from offices, shops and pubs to light industrial units converted from traditional agricultural buildings. Our commercial premises are in high demand and tenants tend to stay with us for the long term. However, we do have properties to rent from time to time so if you would like to be part of our business community, then contact the Estate Office for more information.

We endeavour to reply within one week to start your rental application process and let you know if we have any suitable properties available. If not, we’ll keep your details on record for 24 months and update you if any come available. 

Successful applicants will need to provide a copy of photo I.D., such as a valid passport, along with a recent bank statement or utility bill with your current address. We also require a deposit equal to five weeks of rent, which will be placed into a deposit protection scheme. The first month’s rent must also be received in cleared funds before the start of the tenancy. More details can be found on our application form.

We manage a variety of commercial properties including pubs, cafés, offices, shops and light industrial units, some of which have been converted from traditional agricultural buildings. While our tenants typically stay with us for many years, some properties do come available from time to time. Contact the Estate Office to register your interest and we’ll let you know when we have something available.
